The British descisions made on Alfie Evans violates the human rights set forth by the United Nations in the Universal Decleration of Human Rights (DHR).
Firstly, the Decleration of Human Rights applies to Alfie Evans for Article Second of DHR states: "Everyone is entitled to all
the rights and freedoms set forth in this Decleration."
Secondly, Britain has violated Alfie's right against "inhuman or degrading treatment" as set forth in Article Fifth of the
DHR through the act of depriving him of nourishment and removing him from life support.
Thirdly, Britain has violated Alfie's right not to be subject to "detention" as set forth by the DHR's Ninth Article through
preventing him from leaving Alder-Hey Hospital even though his legal representatives wished to move him; the British hold no
charge against Alfie Evans sufficient to detain him such. Furthermore, through holding Alfie against his representative's will,
Britain has violated DHR's Thirteenth Article which states: "(1) Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence
within the borders of each State. (2) Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his
country," for Britain has prevented him from being transferred elsewhere he may be treated.
Whereas Britain is clearly violating the Human Rights set forth by the United Nations, and the Decleration of Human Rights
guarantees the rights Britain is violating, the United Nations must act against these actions and ensure that Alfie's rights
as a human being are not infringed upon in any way.
